The product was designed for animals suffering from nephro-lithiasis. Potassium citrate and magnesium-potassium citrate work as inhibitors of the crystallisation process and creation of calcium oxalate stones. Administered orally, citrates bind calcium and forms water soluble calcium citrate. Additionally, it makes urine more alkaline, which increases solubility of calcium oxalate. Another active ingredient is vitamin B6 (pyridox-ine), a deficiency of which may lead to the increased endogenous production of oxalic acid. Vitamin B6 contained in the product is to prevent possible deficit of the vitamin and ensure prevention of oxalate nephrolithiasis.

USAGE: Recommended amount of the product to be given with the animal feed according to its body weight:
< 10 kg – 1 capsule every 12 hours
10-25 kg – 2 capsules every 12 hours
>25 kg – 3 capsules every 12 hours
Recommended duration of usage: up to 6 months. It is recommended that a veterinarian’s opinion be sought before use. If needed it is possible to open the capsule and mix the contents with the feed. If the way of feeding is based only on dry feed, it should be slightly moistened, to ensure good adhesion of the capsule contents and its complete intake.
