L-Methiocid is a product that supports the functioning of the urinary system and reduces the risk of struvite stones.
L-Methiocid contains L-methionine – a sulfur amino acid that acidifies urine and bile. It prevents the precipitation of deposits in the urinary tract, thus reducing the risk of their infection. L-methionine has a detoxifying, lipotropic, cholepoietic, cholagogic and diuretic effect, which helps to flush out struvites.
Purpose: to support proper nutrition in animals with a tendency to the appearance of struvite stones in the urinary tract, preventively in the event of a risk of infection in the urinary tract.

Application: It is recommended to administer the following amounts of the product in during a meal, depending on the animal’s body weight:
< 10 kg – 1 capsule every 12 hours
10-25 kg – 2 capsules every 12 hours
> 25 kg – 3 capsules every 12 hours
Recommended period of use: up to 6 months
If necessary, you can open the capsule and mix its contents with your favorite treat. If the diet is based only on dry food, it should be slightly moistened so that the contents of the capsule adhere to the food and are consumed by the animal. It is recommended to consult a veterinarian before use.
